RULES.TXT
BRAINO was designed for the man who likes an intellectual
challenge.
It is consists of four programs (BRAINO1, BRAINO2, BRAINO3 AND
BRAINO4) asking questions that require more than a bit of thought.
The program SAMPLE.TXT will give you an idea what to expect.
Answers are provided in (ANSWER1, ANSWER2, ANSWER3 AND ANSWER4) to
all but the last three (out of 100) questions. Try not to use the
answer programs. The fun of BRAINO is thinking out the answers
without any assistance.
Here is how BRAINO works:
When you start BRAINO1 you will see a prompt asking for an input.
The input is a password which to start is 1-HELLO (or 1-hello).
Entering the password will cause a question to go on the screen.
The answer to that question is the password for the next question.
For instance, if the answer for the first question were "good" then
you would enter 2-GOOD (or 2-good) which in turn would bring a new
question to the screen. You would then use the answer to that
question to enter 3-(and the answer) which would cause the next
question to come up.
If you give the wrong password then nothing happens on the screen.
You will have to try again with a different password.
We require a number to be placed before each answer because the
same answer might be applicable for more than one question.
If all else fails, you can run the applicable ANSWER program which
will give you that information on the unsolved problem.
NOTE: We don't automatically erase the screen when a new password
is entered. This is because the player might have a problem
keeping track of the answer numbers. Use Key F2 to erase the
screen. It is best to press F2 before each input.
Once you answer the first 25 questions of BRAINO1, you continue
with Program BRAINO2 using the last answer from BRAINO1 as the
password. At the end of BRAINO2, continue on to BRAINO3, etc.
The numbers continue through the four programs with the last answer
being 100-(and answer).
This isn't the end. See PRIZES.TXT.
